About Us

This website was co-developed with Fife Gingerbread, One Parent Families Scotland, Citizens Advice Scotland, Scottish Women’s Aid, the Department of Work and Pensions and parents with lived experience of both Paying and Receiving child maintenance.

Our aim: to provide accessible, clear and non-judgemental information for parents in the early stages of their child maintenance journey.

The website will be maintained by the Scotland national support service Child Maintenance Explained, a partnership with One Parent Families Scotland and Fife Gingerbread.
